Back in 2011, I had the opportunity to take a missions trip with two of my favorite missionaries – Clifford Suddeth​ & Russ Turner​ – to Panama City, Panama. This was one of the most eye-opening events in my life and I can truly say that God changed my view of missions.

Missions is not just for those who have left the States to enter a different country and eat food we would never even think about putting in our mouths. Missions is the responsibility of every Christian! Period!

Last week, I had the opportunity to chaperone a great group of students from my home church, Mile Straight Baptist, to SLU 101. Student Leadership University is all about providing opportunities for young believers to develop into capable, confident leaders that will change the world. Through tentpole events, dynamic speakers, and career opportunities, we teach the next generation to Think, Dream, and Lead.
